Jana completed an undergraduate degree in medical science at UNSW before graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Griffith University in 2012. She then spent 7 years as a paediatric registrar working in various hospitals throughout Queensland including Gold Coast University Hospital, Queensland Childrens Hospital, Logan Hospital and Cairns Hospital.

Jana commenced General Practice training at the start of 2023 and achieved her fellowship with the RACGP in 2026. Jana enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She believes in providing holistic care for her patients and appreciates the value in preventative healthcare. She particularly enjoys paediatric medicine, antenatal and newborn care, adolescent health, complex care and chronic condition management. Jana is aligned with Metro South Health Service to provide antenatal care.

Away from medicine Jana enjoys spending her time with her family and running after her two young sons. She enjoys watching and participating in sport and occasionally reading a book.
