For more than a decade, Capalaba Medical Centre has bulk billed the provision of fully funded Home Health Assessments where our trained nurses visit aged patients (75+) annually in their homes.

During this visit, our nurse reviews safety within the home, ensures correct medication use, and screens for possible social isolation or the need for disability or home assistance. She also enquires about any emerging health issues that may not have been raised during regular attendances at the clinic, along with vaccination updates. This is then followed up with a dedicated clinic visit for review and examination by your regular practitioner.
